Sony will unveil 3 new headphones and 2 new monitors next week

Last week, I reported via Three Hard Guides that Sony is preparing to potentially unveil a new PlayStation 5 Pro controller in the near future. This assumption is based on the knowledge that Sony is actually discovering new hardware later this week.

Although there was no confirmation as to whether the controller would be discovered or not, it makes sense. There is no official confirmation yet either “insider” confirmation that this is the case, however, sources have confirmed, to their knowledge, what Sony will show next week.

Information about one set of hardware has already been revealed, and that is Sony’s new headphones. These are new “INZONE” The X-Series headphones, with three sets to be unveiled next week. The INZONE H3, INZONE H7 and INZONE H9 come with 360-degree surround sound for gaming and are all Discord certified.

INZONE H3:

  • Wired headphones
  • The cheapest headphones
  • 360 surround sound

INZONE H7:

  • Wireless headphones
  • 360 surround sound
  • Best battery life
  • Wireless headphones
  • 360 surround sound
  • The most expensive headphones
  • Noise-canceling sound

Headphone prices have yet to be revealed. In addition to the three new headphones, Sony will also unveil two brand new INZONE gaming monitors, a feature “Exclusive features for PlayStation”which includes automatic HDR tone mapping and automatic genre image mode.

According to my sources, one of these monitors will be for 4K gaming at 144Hz while the other will be for full HD gaming at 240Hz. Both devices are described as “Perfect for PS5” and received VRR (HDMI / G-Sinc) support and have low latency (1 ms GtG). Sony also had in mind HDR (DisplaiHDR600 in 4K / 144Hz, DisplaiHDR400 in FullHD / 240Hz) for both monitors.

It is also believed that both of these monitors will come with them “Game Assistance Features”which include monitors that display FPS number, game time, viewfinder, improve brightness in dark locations (black equalizer) and improve brightness and contrast – to better see enemies with these features turned off / on depending on user preferences.

Monitor prices have yet to be revealed. However, it is still unclear whether Sony will also unveil the new Pro controller or not, but my sources have said that these five pieces of new hardware will be unveiled next week and will be part of Sony’s new “INZONE” brand.
