The cat pretty much came out of the bag. The design of the Nothing phone (1) has been revealed, showing the back panel a rather interesting look. The phone avoids the typical clean look you find on most smartphones for a more industrial design. We have yet to see the front of the phone, but there is already a lot behind it.
Based on what you’ve seen so far, do you like the design of the Nothing phone (1)?
The Nothing phone (1) has been popular for some time, and the recent move to uncover the design of the phone before a potential leak is the latest attempt to attract potential buyers. The company teased that the phone will have a transparent background, which is more or less what we get.
You can’t really see the inside of the phone because they are carefully covered. Instead, the design shows how its internal components are arranged, a large part of the rear part occupies what looks like a coil for wireless charging. There is also a dual camera setting in the upper left corner of the phone, which means that the phone will probably be among the best cheap Android phones. A few screws are visible from behind, making the device look a bit like an unfinished prototype.
One surprising aspect of the design is the inclusion of LED strips, including rings around the cameras and charging coils. This is not the first smartphone to have luminous parts on the back, although other examples are usually limited to the OEM logo. However, it is unclear what turns on the lights on the phone Nothing (1), which is a detail we may have to wait to find out at the presentation in July.
However, if you want to be among the first to catch one, Nothing plans to sell 100 units on June 21 through its partnership with StockX.
